2. Hosting and Content Delivery Networks (CDN)

Vercel

We host our website with Vercel (Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA).

Vercel collects technically necessary data (log files), such as your IP address, to ensure the website is displayed stably and securely. Data transfer to the USA is secured by standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

Legal Basis: Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR (Legitimate interest in error-free presentation).

Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) as a nameserver service. Requests are technically routed through Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare processes IP addresses for security and performance optimization.

Contact Form / Email

If you send us inquiries via the contact form or email, your details (name, email, message) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry. We use iCloud Mail (Apple) for this. We do not share this data without your consent.

Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies. These are used to store your settings for language and design (Light/Dark mode). These cookies are not used for advertising or tracking purposes.

Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts via the next/font/google package. The fonts are integrated locally into our project. This means that when the website is loaded, no connection is established to Google servers and no IP addresses are transmitted to Google.

GitHub API

We integrate statistics via the GitHub API. The call is made via our server/code, so your IP address is not directly transmitted to GitHub when you visit our site.
